Artist's Description
The name of this collection of photographs, "Dancing Ranunculus" is inspired by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's famous "Dance of the Flowers" of The Nutcracker and serves as an homage to my Eastern European heritage. The artistic influence behind this flower imagery stems from my deep appreciation for the simple, untampered and unadulterated beauty found in nature. The flowers exemplify growth and renewal, mimicking my own personal renaissance as a photographer.
